Wilson 3D Multi-Action Palatal Appliance
2505

The 3D® Multi-Action Palatal Appliance is an alternative to the Quad-Helix Appliance,  as well as a simpler, less expensive alternative to numerous sagittal and transverse removable appliances. Often used in conjunction with the Quad-Action Mandibular Appliance, The 3D® Multi-Action Palatal Appliance produces rapid arch expansion or contraction (unilaterally or bilaterally); expansion or contraction of the bicuspids; advancement or retraction of the incisors; and tip, torque, and rotation of the molars. Buttons placed on the cuspids are used to keep the lingual wires (termed “extenders” in the 3D® system) functioning in a horizontal plane -- and from riding up the lingual incline when activated.
