This two-band space maintainer with an occlusal bar is designed to prevent super-eruption of the opposing teeth. Easy-to-clean design allows patients to maintain desired oral hygiene. IMPORTANT: Before prescribing this appliance, be sure banded teeth have a parallel path of insertion. Note: To place the occlusal bar in the ideal position, the laboratory must be supplied with an opposing model and a bite relationship.
