"C" Clasp/Ball Clasp Combo
C1010

This double clasp design is quite effective in primary or mixed dentition cases when permanent molars are not adequately erupted for standard Adams clasps. As shown, it consists of a “C” clasp typically contoured to the second primary molar and a Ball clasp placed at the distal lingual undercut of the first primary molar.

A composite ledge can be added to the buccal of the primary second molar to increase retention.
