How do I request access to the SML Digital Portal? – Click here 

Is the SML Digital Portal secure? Yes. Unlike e-mail and FTP, our SML Digital Portal (powered by ShareFile) offers 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your files. This is the same type of encryption that banks, the government, and many other institutions utilize to keep their files secure when transferring them online. Our daily 3rd party security audits, offsite data backups, and 24/7 availability monitoring further ensures that your data is always accessible and secure. Passwords are also hashed so that even SML Digital staff are not able to access them.

Can other clients see my files? No. Each client has access only to their designated folder(s).

What if I forget my password? Click here and click on the “Forgot Password?” link under the Log In button, and you can reset your password.

What is an STL file? An STL file is a general file format used in manufacturing. This file type is used for scanning applications in the dental and orthodontic industry.

What type of patient images does SML accept for diagnostic services? We accept all standard photo and x-ray file formats (.jpg, .jpeg, .tiff, etc.).
